I am the owner of several small, local businesses in the DFW area. I recently utilized Veterans Support Services to help streamline my business. The staff was prompt, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. They guided me through their vast list of professional services and helped to identify and implement the ones that were the most beneficial to us. They worked well with my staff and were able to quickly acquire their trust and confidence so that we were able to get the maximum affect for our whole team. I believe the short term and long term results achieved will be exponential compared to my investment.

Our primary contact for day to day interactions was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable and is always careful to utilize his time for maximum effect. He carefully answered every question that any of us asked with thoughtfulness and detailed explanation to make sure that we fully understood not just the “How does it work”, but also the “Why”.

Now that we have completed our initial project with VSS, we plan to utilize their consulting services on an as needed basis to keep our new processes in place and working to our full benefit. We plan to continue to seek improvement and develop better practices within our business systems and I know that VSS will be a big part of that as we move forward.

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for continuing to provide great value to my company as you spent some incredibly productive time with me and my team over the last couple of months. Your willingness to be flexible to my schedule was such a big help. When you realized 10 hour days to expedite getting us moving forward was too fast for us, you were able to understand what we needed and then change gears to spend fewer hours a day and extend the number of weeks spent with us. That was so helpful in making sure we weren’t just knowing what needed to be done, but allowed for showing us how to implement it. I keep telling people that my Director of Operations received the equivalent of Master’s Degree in 60 days – and it’s not just head knowledge, it’s practical application. What’s most exciting to see is that my entire management and administrative team has caught on and are continuing the practices your team helped us to implement.

I brought in Veterans Support Services to analyze and evaluate my company. I have had several other out-of- state consulting companies over the years do this, as I have it done about every two years. I am a believer in having professionals look at my business to help me see what I do not see, and I believe in having coaches.

That being said, I was reluctant to going through this process again, but after visiting with my friend Richard Moore and learning how Veterans Supports Services assisted and benefited his Landscaping and Masonry companies, over the last 5 years, it was a very easy choice for me to move forward. I have had... some very bad consulting companies come in and try to rob me blind with the costly “fixes” they suggested or tried to force upon me with these high-pressure tactics. All they cared about was the money they would make off me. So, I am really in tune with those types of companies and its people.
